3D Printed Probes on the Biggest Stage
Display Week is the world’s largest technical symposium and exhibition for emerging tech in the global electronic display industry; an industry worth over $120 billion.
Exaddon travelled to San Jose, California to present our industry-first μLED Fine-Pitch Parallel Testing solution; namely 3D-printed probes for electroluminescence testing of microLEDs at wafer scale.
In the nascent microLED industry, the ability to test in parallel at such tiny dimensions represents a huge advantage. Combine this with the flexibility of 3D printing and you have an unmatched level of customization and modularity at microscale size ranges.
Exhibiting Exaddon MicroLED Testing to Industry Giants
Presenting our capabilities via the Exaddon booth was a fantastic opportunity to interact with key figures in display test and design, and our demo examples of fine-pitch probes printed directly on μPCBs garnered a lot of attention.
The exchangeable probe substrate design which we have developed allows probeheads to be exchanged quickly and easily. This modular approach is simple to integrate and maintain, and maximizes uptime. Direct, in-person feedback from a who's-who of the electronic display industry was very positive, and we received many invaluable insights to help us continue developing the product.
Our thanks to Advantest, MPI Corporation, Synergie Cad Group for their support and involvement.
